Giving back to the community is something that I believe in strongly, especially when it comes to having the ability to influence the youth of the world.

I recently traveled to rural Minnesota to shoot a documentary for a National Kidney Foundation Benefit. The event was a teen dance which was organized by my sister (the best ever!) and hosted by my nephew who has been living with kidney disease for the past 8 years. I traveled with my full set of studio gear and set up shop shooting video and still photography of the dance with the intention of using the footage to help promote awareness of the event and the fight against kidney disease. With close to a hundred local teenagers in attendance, we shook up the dance floor and grooved into the night.

The benefit has a huge success and we had so much fun, I can't wait for next year!

Bridal Fashion Designer -Taylor Morgan

Just recently I had the opportunity to work with Bridal Fashion Designer Taylor Morgan, she is such a fabulous girl! Taylor just launched her new line of bridal gown designs and asked us to help her create some imagery for use in her upcoming advertising campaign and fashion catalog. We had such a fun time working with her and wish Taylor the best in all of her life's ventures.

Street Fashion - Just being plain ol' silly

I just wrapped a street fashion shoot that I wanted to share with you, it was fun day of just beating the streets and having fun. I've been playing around a bit with my lighting techniques and have been shooting a ton of film lately and I love it, I think it's the mystery of the unknown that makes it so appealing. If you haven't shot film in a while go out and grab a roll or two, it'll help bring back some inspiration and excitement into your life as a creative. Push yourself and don't be afraid, change will only make you better!
